This Privacy Policy explains what information the Color AI app ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We designed Color AI to work without accounts, sign-ins, or collecting your name, email address, or contacts.
Anonymous identifiers. When you first open the App we generate a random installation ID. It does not identify you personally and is not linked to your name or email. It is shown in Settings and used only to operate the App (for example, fair-use limits on AI generation) and to measure the App in aggregate.
Usage analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the App is used — for example which screens are visited, which features are popular, and where people run into problems. This includes events like opening a picture, saving an artwork, or viewing a screen, along with general device information (model, OS version, language, country) and the anonymous identifiers above. Clarity may capture how you interact with the App's interface (taps, scrolls and screens) to help us improve usability. We do not receive your photos, artworks or prompts through these analytics tools.
Advertising data. The free version of the App shows ads through Google AdMob. With your consent (requested through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and, where required, a consent form), Google may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to show more relevant ads and measure ad performance. If you decline, you still see ads, just less personalized ones. Ad networks participating in Apple's SKAdNetwork receive privacy-preserving install attribution signals. AI creation content. When you use "AI Text to Draw" or "AI Photo to Draw", the text you type or the photo you pick is sent to our server and passed to an AI image-generation provider to create your coloring page. Uploaded photos are stored on our server only temporarily for processing. Please do not submit photos or text containing other people's personal information without their permission.
Purchases. Subscriptions and credit packs are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment card details. We only receive an anonymous confirmation that a purchase was made so we can unlock what you bought.
Your artwork. Your colorings, canvases and creations are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or view them. Deleting the App deletes them.
We use the information above to operate and improve the App, keep AI features fast and fairly rate-limited, show and measure ads in the free version, measure the results of our own advertising campaigns, and fix crashes and usability problems. We do not sell your personal information.
We share data only with the service providers that make the App work: Google (Firebase Analytics, AdMob advertising), Microsoft (Clarity analytics), Apple (purchases), our hosting provider, and our AI image-generation provider (which receives only the prompt text or photo you submit for a generation). Each processes data under its own privacy policy and our instructions. We may also disclose information if required by law.
You can decline ad tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or change it anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Where a consent form is shown (for example in the EU/UK), you can change your ad-consent choices there. You can reset your advertising identifier in iOS settings. Removing the App removes your local data. Subscribers can remove all ads by subscribing to Pro. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data — contact us at the address below and include the installation ID from the App's Settings screen so we can locate any data related to your install.
The App is a general-audience application and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will delete it.
Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the retention settings of the respective providers. Temporarily stored AI photos are removed from our server in routine cleanup. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
